Show and Tell 2012

Once again a pleasant Sunday afternoon was spent admiring the handiwork of the many skilled residents of Leisure World. For some it is just a hobby, an avocation...for some a way to turn a little profit from their hobby...but for all a pleasure to share their creations with their friends and neighbors. Thanks again to all who worked so hard to make it seem so easy...and thanks to all of you who shared your special talents with us.

Lock and Plate for Mailboxes

Would the individual that took the lock and plate from the mailboxes by the shuffle courts please return them to the office. Without it the mail will not be delivered to that section. This part is not replaceable. A complete new section would have to be purchased for a total of $2000.00. I am sure we could use this money in a more useful way.

Happy Birthday

Friends gathered in the Activity Room to celebrate the birthdays of John Beeler and Dona Lawson. Feb 19th is John's birthday and Feb 21 is Dona's birthday, therefore they chose the 20th to celebrate together. John and Dona pose for the camera which caught Marlys Beeler in the forefront. Along with the cakes that were served to guests, Marlys' peanut clusters, that she is so famous for, were served. Fellowship was enjoyed by all then the guests gathered in groups at the card tables to complete the evening.

A pretty white cake is served to those who have not discovered that chocolate is good for us.

And here is the chocolate cake with all the goodies surrounding it and topping. Ummmmm!!!!

Leisure World Flea Market

The Leisure World Flea Market took place on Saturday, February 18th at the Leisure World Hall. Breakfast was on the menu for some who enjoyed biscuits and gravy and Tacos.
