Weatherman Winter Celebrations

Joan Weatherman, husband Jerry Weatherman and two of their children, Dan Weatherman and Connie Harper pose for the camera in the card room where Jerry's 20th birthday was celebrated. Dan and Connie surprised their Dad by flying down to the Valley without their Dad having a hint they were coming. Their son, Steven, was unable to attend the celebration. Born on Feb 29th, Jerry tells us he is only 20 years old because that is how many birthdays he has actually had. On Jan 25, 2012, friends celebrated with Jerry and Joan at the Halcomb Dinner Theater in Alamo. The Weatherman's have been married 55 years and have three children.

Jerry, along with other February birthday friends celebrated their birthdays together at Mama Mia's in McAllen. 34 family and friends attended, however, Jerry was the youngest celebrant there being only 20 years old.

Jerry and Joan relax after cake and ice cream by playing a game of Pegs and Jokers while daughter, Connie, watches.

"Happy Birthday Jerry" we look forward to celebrating again with you in four years.

Michigan Breakfast

The Michigan Breakfast was held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.  It was held at Victoria Palm's.  A good time was had by all.  The food was delicious and the guests especially enjoyed the omelet and waffle station.  This was the last Michigan breakfast this year and it is so hard to say good-bye until next season.

Michigan, our beloved mitten state!

She's Your Sister....

She's the one you've known forever, The one you go to for HONEST advice and GENUINE support.  The one who accepts your QUIRKY little habits and understands you in a way few others can.  She's the one you can call at any hour to LAUGH or cry or complain.  The one whose voice has been there all along, sharing secrets and DREAMS and singing your song when you needed to hear it most.  She's the one who can read your mind, hear your heart, and LOVE you just the way you are.  She's your LIFELONG FRIEND... but so much more.  SHE'S YOUR SISTER...    Donna Fisher and Maria Johnk were in charge of the "2012" DOING IT UP BIG sisters party which was held on Wednesday, March 7th.  There were a few sisters who were unable to attend this year due to other committments and were greatly missed.  But, we had a great turn out of sisters, who had a great time at the Olive Garden for a fun and enjoyable time.   THANKS Marie and Donna.
