50th Anniversaries

The "Six Pack" would like to thank all who came to congratulate them on 50 years of marriage at the Valentine Party which was held at the rec hall on February 10th.  This was an evening which we all will treasure as part of Leisure World memories.  Those who were honored this year are from left to right:  Dick and Phyllis Connett, Fred and Shirley Fischer, Earl and Betty Dixon, John and Marlys Beeler, Richard and Nina Peterson, and Lee and Karen Anderson.  These six couples have now joined at least 50 other couples in the park that have been inducted into the Golden Club.  Entertainment was provided by Dennis Perry with romantic songs of those days.  Desserts were served which were made by the ladies in the park.  The hall was beautifully decorated and each honoree went home with red roses.  Thanks to all who had a big hand in making this a great evening to be remembered.
