Gone But Not Forgotten

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN - A very dear friend to all Leisure World residents.  Floyd Lowderman gave up his life here on earth on February 10, 2013, after suffering a short illness.  A memorial service was held at the rec. hall on February 19th to honor Floyd.  Floyd will be greatly missed in the park by all.   Floyd and Ruby have been in the park for many years and had just made the decision to become permanent residents this summer.
Floyd had many talents and loved life.  He served his country well.  He was well known for his "soups" and he loved his "joker group" which he made personal boards for each team member.
A great display of the talents that Floyd participated in and enjoyed.
Harold Monroe in charge of the memorial service.
Stan and Mary Gainer sang a couple of Floyd's favorite hymns.

Thanks for all who helped in making this memorial a memorable day for Ruby.  Floyd definitely will not be forgotten.
